About the event
Memory Makers will demonstrate and guide you on how to create your own découpage decorated terracotta pot, before filling it with spring daffodil bulbs ready to bloom on your windowsill. Découpage is a French creative technique, to decorate objects with a range of beautiful printed papers. Once complete, your hand decorated terracotta pot will be yours to take home, and can be enjoyed all season long to watch your daffodils bloom, and re-use for summer bulbs, herbs or indoor plants. Your terracotta pot will take 1-hour to dry and set, so following the workshop spend your afternoon exploring the beautiful cafe and gardens of Rowallane, including the rock garden, spring ground and lots more - all humming with the fabulous sights, sounds and smells of Spring!
All equipment and materials are supplied and no experience is necessary. Available to both adults and children, aged 7 years +.
All participants will have access to Rowallane Garden from 10am on Saturday 13th April. Booking is essential, as places are limited.
